FOX on Top in 6.22 DC Sunday Show Household Ratings, NBC Leads in P2

According to Nielsen Media Research, on Sunday, June 22, “FOX News Sunday” led the Sunday Show household ratings in the DC market with 59,000, just ahead of NBC’s “Meet the Press” at 55,000. Compared to last year, FOX was up triple digits, +119%, while NBC was down -10%. FOX was the first to land an exclusive with California Congressman Kevin McCarthy since winning the House Majority Leader position vacated by Eric Cantor.

NBC did lead among the networks in total viewrs with 87,000, 3x more than ABC’s “This Week” and 4x more than Univision’s “Al Punto.” NBC also lead the A25-54 demo with 19,000 viewers compared to FOX with 7,000, Univision with 8,000, CBS with 9,000, and ABC with 12,000.

ABC’s “This Week” came in fourth place in 23,000 households, but was up +35% compared to last year. CBS’s “Face the Nation” – which led its program with a taped interview with President Obama by Norah O’Donnell – averaged 25,000 households.
