Last night’s highly anticipated Kelly/Trump rematch, i.e. Fox News GOP Debate number 3, drew 16.9 million viewers, according to Early Nielsen Research.
Those numbers make it the most-watched debate of the nine that have taken place this year, and 4th out of 17 that have taken place over the course of this cycle. Eleven of those, this debate inclusive, have been GOP debates.
The network also averaged 5.5 million in the A25-54 demo and reached 1,489,937 concurrent live streams.
In a cycle that has enabled record upon record, this debate gave Fox News Channel its second highest-rated show ever, second only to its first–and the first–GOP debate of the cycle, which drew 24 million viewers.
