Four Forbes Digital Staffers Get Promoted

forbes_home_logo.gif Forbes announced today that several employees in the digital division are moving up the ladder in what looks to be an effort to bring its digital presence up to date. The company is creating an entirely new division focused on data and analytics and streamlining its social-media presence.

Jonathan Meyers is now the vice president of business development and advertising operations. He’ll be in the unenviable position of trying to increase revenue at a Web property, and will report to Forbes President Michael Smith.

On the technology side, Michael Dugan will serve under Chief Information Officer James Lin as Forbes’ new vice president of information technology. Meanwhile, Tiffany Luck will be heading up the newly formed Data and Analytics department. Finally, Sharon Gitelle will take charge of the Audience Development and Social Media team, a tastefully named fusion between Forbes’ Blog Recruitment and Social Media department and its Audience Department.
