Foster Kamer Heads to Mental Floss

Veteran editor checks out of Complex magazine after a little less than three years there.

Today was Foster Kamer’s last day as senior editor at Complex magazine. Per a couple of tweets tonight, he is moving over to Mental Floss magazine as executive editor, with plans to continue freelancing as well.

Kamer had a nice piece in last Friday’s New York Times about the ex-Army man now mixing drinks at Campbell Apartment. Prior to Complex, Kamer worked as a senior editor at The New York Observer, online news and features editor for Esquire, Village Voice staff writer, Gawker weekend editor and assistant editor at Black Book. He has also, previously, freelanced for Mental Floss.
