Former Ebony editor in chief Kierna Mayo has joined Interactive One—the digital division of Radio One—as senior vp of content and brands. Interactive One owns GlobalGrind, HelloBeautiful, NewsOne and TheUrbanDaily.
“As a visionary media executive, Kierna has an impressive range of experience in areas which span the breadth of Interactive One’s portfolio,” said Interactive One president Detavio Samuels, in a statement. “She has a history of not only covering the news, but also creating the conversation, which is a lynchpin of iOne’s future content strategy.”
