Former BET Employee Suing Network Over Alleged Sexual Harassment

Tameika Dorman, a former BET employee, has filed a lawsuit against the network claiming that she was fired for reporting sexual harassment to her supervisors.

According to AllHipHop.com, Dorman says that in 2009 she was subject to sexual harassment from a male camera operator named Derek Clarke. During an editing session with Clarke, he allegedly repeatedly played a taped segment of Dorman walking up a set of stairs in a skirt. When Dorman asked why Clarke was doing this, the lawsuit claims “Clarke grabbed and repeatedly rubbed his crotch, began to moan and said it was because he loved her butt, that she was sexy, and that she did not know what he was going to do [to] her.”
