Forbes: New York Fourth Most Toxic City

It doesn’t seem right to post this on a day this perfect, but Forbes just published its “Most Toxic Cities” List, and we placed fourth. The rest of the top five: Philadelphia at number one (so make fun of Philly residents, just don’t touch them, because they’re probably gross), Bakersfield, Fresno, and Baton Rouge at fifth place.

The list combines research measuring a city’s air quality, water quality, and proximity to toxic waste sites.

We know what you’re thinking: “Forbes does all kinds of lists, and one list contradicts another list all the time, essentailly making them all completely meaningless.”

And you’re right! But we – and Forbes – know that people like lists, so there you have it.
