FLOTUS Episode Ignites Iron Chef Ratings

The Nielsen ratings are in, and the recent episode of “Iron Chef” filmed at the White House has been epic for The Food Network. The show aired on Jan. 3.

“The show was the highest rated show on cable TV for its time slot, 8-10 PM. And with about 4.6 million viewers, it was the highest rated and most-watched show in Food Network’s history,” reports the Obama Foodorama blog.

The competition pitted White House chef Cristeta Comerford and Bobby Flay against Mario Batali and Emeril Lagasse.
