Flickr iOS Update Brings Hashtags
Yahoo’s photosharing platform Flickr has updated its iOS app adding hashtags to the mix. Now Flickr users can add a hashtag in a photo’s title or description, and search by hashtags by tapping directly on the hashtag.
The update also includes Flickr’s own hashtag #FlickrFriday, a weekly photo contest hosted by the photo sharing network. Essentially every week, the site poses a photo-taking challenge with different themes and users can participate by adding #FlickrFriday to their photos.
