First Windows Phone 7 Update to Plug CheveronWP7 Hole. Really? That's it?

I have an HTC HD7 running Windows Phone 7 and like it a lot. In fact, it is my primary phone. As much as I like it and, perhaps, because I use it frequently throughout the day, I am all too familiar with its shortcomings as well as its strengths. So, is this what I really want to know about Windows Phone 7’s first update?

Microsoft will block ChevronWP7 unlock with first Windows Phone 7 update

Um, not really. I had no plan to use the CheveronWP7 unlock tool on my phone. What I would like to do is be able to sync Office Mobile Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with Microsoft SkyDrive. Only Onenote Mobile does that right now. I’d like photo syncing with SkyDrive to start working again. It has been broken for a couple of weeks now. I’d like Windows Marketplace not to lock up my phone when it decides to misbehave. It would be nice if I didn’t have to turn off my phone and cold boot it when the Bluetooth or WiFi stack decides to stop working. So, do I care about closing the exploit hold that allowed the ChevronWP7 unlock to work? Not so much.
