First Tweet from the North Pole
Santa Claus must not be a fan of Twitter, as arctic explorer Eric Larson beat out jolly old St. Nick to become the first person to Tweet from the North Pole, TechCrunch reported.
Larson and two companions spent 51 days traveling over ice flows and open water to reach the North Pole as part of the Save the Poles project, according to TechCrunch, and Mount Everest is next on his list.
TechCrunch added that Larson is also updating a blog and Facebook page.
