First Amendment Awards Dinner Tonight
The Radio Television Digital News Foundation will host the 21st annual First Amendment Awards Dinner this evening at the Ritz Carlton hotel. Each year the organization honors individuals in the field of broadcast journalism for their work on behalf of press freedom.
This year’s award recipients include CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, David Barrett of Hearst Television, Inc. and Susana Schuler of Raycom Media. The black-tie event kicks off with a reception at 6.30 pm and the dinner program begins at 7.30 pm.
