Finally Found an iPhone Case I Can Live With: Seidio Innocase II Holster

My Marware flip-cover iPhone case with a belt clip started falling apart after only a few months of use. You can see what it looks like after 14 months of use in the photo above (case on the right). I still haven’t found something that meets all of my iPhone case needs. But, the Seidio Innocase II Surface Spring Clip Holster Combo for iPhone 3G, 3GS is close enough for me after searching for a new case for the past 8 months.

This $32 case has a number of features I like:

– Belt clip with a lip(lock) on the bottom to help prevent it from falling off
– iPhone screen faces the body when clipped to a belt
– iPhone screen protected by a hard plastic shell when clipped
– Soft felt-like material on inside of shell placed against the screen
– Single handed release and replacement possible

It could use a few improvements:

– Clip doesn’t easily swivel from vertical to horizontal position (feels like it will break the clip)
– The top clip holding the iPhone in place feels a bit flimsy

I should note that it has an average customer review of 4.5 stars (out of 5) on Amazon. Ask me in 6 to 8 months how it worked out.
