Federated Media Publishing teamed up with The Clorox Co. to launch online destination DailyBuzz Moms, which will offer curated blog content aimed at mothers, as well as a presence on Facebook and Twitter.

DailyBuzz Moms will feature relevant material from Clorox alongside content from established blogs including dooce, Rookie Moms, Girls Gone Child, and Her Bad Mother, along with new, curated voices.

A daily theme supported by nine curated pieces of content will anchor the site each day (for example, “Terrible Twos: Fact or Fiction”), and DailyBuzz Moms will be organized into six channels: Nurture (pregnancy, family, parenting, and relationships), Nest (home, design, pets, do-it-yourself, craft, cleaning, and green living), Eat (recipes, healthy eating, and family meals), Play (parties, gifts, travel, toys, movies, TV, books, and music), Style (fashion, beauty, gear, community, resources, and tools), and Balance (health, career, inspiration, organization, fitness, and self).

Federated Media CEO Deanna Brown said:

For Federated Media, DailyBuzz Moms is the exciting end result of a few smart acquisitions, hard work by a brilliant and dedicated product and community team, and our realization that the market is in dire need of a new way to package and curate content. A corporation like The Clorox Co., with such a diverse product portfolio, can now feature a variety of their brands respectfully and appropriately alongside meaningful and relevant editorial subject matter.

Clorox senior public relations manager David Kellis added:

We know moms rely on other moms, especially bloggers, to share and discuss the common experiences of motherhood. That’s why destinations like DailyBuzz Moms are such valuable resources, and we’re excited to be part of these conversations moms will be having every day.
