FCC grows some stugots, whacks CBS with largest fine in history

The FCC today cleared its mounting agglomeration of pending fines and both let stand the Nipplegate penalty from two Superbowls ago, and also levied another whopper against CBS.

Per Bloomberg,

“The U.S. Federal Communications Commission, renewing a campaign against broadcast indecency…proposed fining CBS stations $3.63 million, the most ever, for an episode of the show “Without A Trace” that depicted a teen orgy.”

Our reaction? “Without a Trace” depicted a teen orgy? We really, really need to start watching more primetime TV.
