FBI Stakes Out Social Media

Social media is on the FBI’s radar, as the agency added a video widget, a quiz on its Facebook page and a Most Wanted iPhone app to its crime-fighting arsenal, TechCrunch reported.

The video widget allows FBI videos to be embedded on Webpages and blogs, and it automatically updates when the bureau adds new content, according to TechCrunch.

The quiz is described as “a light-hearted quiz to determine what kind of FBI career best suits you: Special agent? IT professional? Intelligence analyst? Even the FBI Director?”

And the iPhone app features the most-wanted list and breaking news about missing children and terrorism, as well as a feature allowing users to locate the nearest FBI office via geo-location, TechCrunch reported.
