Fashion week: Tennis Everyone?

There’s been plenty of grousing from the style set about this season’s early show schedule, which threw the fashion world into the fray just hours after returning from the Labor Day weekend. Now comes word that, thanks to the US Open Finals, there will be plenty of heavy hitters that are opting for Center Court over Bryant Park on Sunday. Several senior editors and at least one veteran industry executive said they’d be bowing out of the shows to catch their favorite players in Flushing Meadows.
