Far EasTone Telecommunications Opens eBook Town In China
Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET), a telecommunications company based in China, has opened an eBook store that sells Chinese-language eBooks.
The store is called eBook Town. It launched last week with about 5,000 books from 50 different Chinese language publishers, but should include about 10,000 titles by the end of the year.
The FET store is accessible on desktop computers, iPhones and Android phones. The company has plans to release an iPad-enabled application in the third quarter of this year.
