The latest edition of the map uses data from December, and reflects that over the past six months, Facebook has assumed the leadership position in the Netherlands — giving it all of Europe — and Brazil.

A significant error we’ve noticed in this infographic: Cosenza thinks Facebook leads in Japan, when all other data sources we’ve seen say Mixi still holds the top spot over there.
