Facebook Wants Users to Ask Themselves 3 Questions to Help Stamp Out Fake News

The social network teamed up with some of its third-party fact-checking partners on the initiative

Facebook teamed up with some of its third-party fact-checking partners on “Three Questions to Help Stamp Out False News,” a campaign that kicked off last week, aimed at helping users make informed decisions on content they see.

The campaign is running on Facebook in countries across Africa, the European Union and the Middle East, as well as Turkey and the U.K., and it links to a dedicated website

The three questions are:

  1. Where’s it from? If there’s no source, search for one.
