Facebook Received 250,000 Job Applications In 2010

Facebook has been hiring at a steady clip, but the number of applications per job opening numbers in the hundreds. The company received almost 250,000 resumes in 2010.

Of course, that’s to be expected, given that Facebook is considered one of the best places to work. The site’s popularity seems to spread to anything associated with it, which happened to a consultancy we previously hadn’t heard of until it put out a report saying the social network ranked first in employee satisfaction — we’re referring to Glassdoor’s third annual survey put out in December.
