Facebook’s Reactions Are Now One Year Old, and They Have Been Used 300 Billion Times

The Love Reaction has been the social network’s most popular, accounting for more than one-half of total Reactions

Facebook launched its Reactions extension to its like button one year ago today and, aside from 365 days of some users still clamoring for a dislike button (not going to happen), the feature has caught on.

Facebook said in an email to Social Pro Daily that in the one year the feature has been available to its user base, there have been a total of 300 billion reactions on posts.

While not all users may have loved the feature, the Love Reaction has been the social network’s most popular, accounting for more than one-half of total Reactions.

Christmas Day 2016 represented the day when the most Reactions were used on Facebook, including the most Love Reactions.
