Facebook Putting the Squeeze on Lamebook

Another company that will not stand for your funny ha-ha jokes – Facebook. The social media giant has shut down Lamebook’s Facebook page and filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against the Austin-based start-up. Lamebook says it’s a parody site and protected by the First Amendment.

The law might be on Lamebook’s side, but the force is with Facebook. They’ve discouraged Faebook users from posting links and prohibited posts from Lamebook on its site, which will cut into the company’s ad revenue, TechCrunch
