Facebook Pulls Cop Killer Jamie Hood's Fan Page

Facebook has removed a fan page dedicated to alleged police killer Jamie Hood, as the Georgia police are using the social network to ask the suspect to surrender.

Facebook removed of a fan page dedicated to accused police killer Jamie Hood.

Georgia’s Athens-Clark Police County Department last Thursday created a Facebook page called Jame Hood Can Arrange to Turn Himself In by Calling 911 or 706-546-5900.

Presumably the Facebook fan page interferes with the police’s effort to ask Hood to surrender.

Before Facebook took down the fan page it had garnered about 2,000 likes.

Below we’ve embedded a video that discusses whether Facebook’s removal of the page interferes with freedom of speech laws.
