Facebook officially debuted a subscribe button for websites.
The button works just like the like plugin does on websites, says an entry on Facebook’s developer blog.
As soon as a visitor clicks on the subscribe button, public posts from the profile subscribed to appear in the subscriber’s news feed.
The current version of the subscribe button works with Facebook profiles, not pages.
The subscribe plugin already appears live on Absolute Radio, AllThingsD, ANSA.it, The Daily Beast and Newsweek, Forbes.com,
