Facebook Just Announced Two Key Hires for Its Global Marketing Solutions Team

Verve CEO Nada Stirratt and THX Product Marketing president and CEO Ty Ahmad-Taylor are on board

Facebook Thursday announced two big-name additions to its global marketing solutions team—former Verve CEO Nada Stirratt and former THX Product Marketing president and CEO Ty Ahmad-Taylor.

Stirratt will serve as vice president, global marketing solutions, U.S. and Canada, with a focus on expanding the social network’s advertising business in the two countries and strengthening the relationships between marketers, agencies and consumers.

Prior to her role as CEO of location-based mobile marketing platform Verve, she held the chief revenue officer title at both Acxiom and MySpace.

And Ahmad-Taylor is coming on board as vp of product marketing.

At THX, he led the media and consumer-electronics company into new sectors. Prior to that, he held roles including vp of Smart TV services at Samsung, founder and CEO of FanFeedr and senior vp of product development and strategy at Viacom.

Vp of global marketing solutions Carolyn Everson said of Stirratt’s hire:

Stirratt added:

Vp of business and marketing partnerships David Fischer said of the addition of Ahmad-Taylor:

And Ahmad-Taylor added:
