What’s this all about? Financial ratings firms Fitch and Standard & Poor’s are evaluating the country’s current credit rating of “AAA” and will likely downgrade it, so French Facebook users have decided to stop using the letter “a” for a few weeks.

As a result, many creative French Facebook users have posted brand logos and posters that are modified to remove the offending letter.
