Facebook launches media page
Facebook has certainly been busy launching new pages. After debuting the Facebook safety page earlier today and a page for public relations professionals late last week, the social networking site has introduced a new page for another key demographic – media.
The new Facebook + Media page is geared to media organizations to help them “drive referral traffic, increase engagement, and deepen user insights”. There are separate tabs for developers and journalists. Topics on the wall so far include a Hackers and Hackers event in San Francisco this week and a case study on ESPN’s usage of Facebook.
