Facebook Makes Its React Native Open-Source Framework Fully Accessible

Facebook is marking Global Accessibility Awareness Day Thursday (May 21) by making its React Native open-source framework fully accessible.

The social network said it built React Native to create fully accessible mobile applications, and it hopes that by taking the GAAD pledge and making the framework accessible, developers using it will be spurred to create fully accessible mobile apps and other organizations will be inspired to build technology that anyone can use.

Facebook also released the infographic below with tips on how people can make their social media posts more accessible.
