Jake Bialer used the Facebook application-programming interface to create an animated map for the Huffington Post, using data from developer Shane Castlen, showing Occupy Wall Street-related Facebook pages that were launched October 3 through November 9.

A snapshot of November 9 appears below, with the largest circles representing the most likes. The first Occupy Wall Street protest occurred on September 26.
