Here Are All of the Features Facebook Introduced for LGBTQ Pride Month

More than 12 million users are part of one of the 76,000 LGBTQ Facebook groups

Facebook rolled out several features allowing its users to celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month in June, including features for Instagram and Messenger.

Vice president and executive sponsor of pride@facebook Alex Schultz listed all of the social network’s Pride Month features in a Newsroom post, writing:

As Pride celebrations begin around the world, Facebook is proud to support our diverse community, including those that have identified themselves on Facebook as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or gender nonconforming. In fact, this year, over 12 million people across the globe are part of one of the 76,000 Facebook groups in support of the LGBTQ community, and more than 1.5
