Facebook Is Testing a Way for Users to Block Specific Words, Phrases and Emojis

Items on people’s lists will not appear in comments on their Timelines

Facebook announced in October that it was testing ways for people to more easily search for and block offensive words from appearing in comments on their posts, and it appears that the social network is taking those tests one step further.

Developer and blogger Jane Manchun Wong shared a screenshot in a tweet that displays users being given the option to block specific words, phrases and emojis from appearing in comments on their Timelines, similar to Twitter’s mute feature.
