Facebook confirmed that it is testing a way for Messenger users to share their screens during video chats on the messaging application.
Developer and blogger Jane Manchun Wong uncovered the test in the code for Messenger’s Android app.
A Facebook spokesperson confirmed Tuesday that the social network was in the very early days of testing with a limited number of users in a couple of small markets.
Wong wrote in a blog post that users who are part of the test group will see a button on the call screen for video and audio calls, and pressing it brings up Share Your Screen Together.
