Did you know that you can share songs, albums, playlists and podcasts from Spotify to your Facebook Story? When you do so, your friends will see the cover art of the content you shared, and they can tap a “Play on Spotify” button to listen to the content themselves in the Spotify application. Our guide will show you how to share content from Spotify to Facebook Stories.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the Spotify and Facebook apps on iOS. Also note, the process is slightly different depending on whether you want to share an individual song or podcast episode, or an album, playlist or overall podcast. Our guide will show you the steps for both.

Sharing a Song or Podcast Episode

Step 1: On the song’s or episode’s cover art, tap the share icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Facebook.”

From there, your device will load the Facebook app, where a Facebook Stories post will automatically be created for you, featuring the cover art of the content you’re trying to share. You can edit your post as normal before sharing it.

Sharing an Album, Playlist or overall Podcast

Step 1: On page for the album, playlist or podcast you wish to share, tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Share.”

Step 3: Tap “Facebook.”

From there, your device will load the Facebook app, where a Facebook Stories post will automatically be created for you, featuring the cover art of the content you’re trying to share. You can edit your post as normal before sharing it.
