Facebook’s “Today In” feature allows you to see local news about your area. While you can view this content in the “Today In” area of the Facebook mobile application, did you know you can also tell Facebook to add more local news to your News Feed? Our guide will show you how this works.

Step 1: Tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap “Today in [Town].”
Step 3: Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 4: Tap the toggle to the right of “Get Local Updates” to add “news, events and discussions” from your area to your News Feed.
