Facebook is testing the inclusion of badges under the names of group administrators.
The Next Web director of social media Matt Navarra was one of the first to spot the badges, and his tweet is embedded below:
Facebook confirmed that it was testing badges for admins in certain groups, and a spokesperson for the social network said in an email to Social Pro Daily, “We’ve heard that group members are looking for ways to quickly identify the leaders of their communities, and admins commonly tell us that helping them stand out in their groups would support them in their role of keeping these communities engaged and safe.
