Sports fans may be missing out on the NCAA Tournament due to Covid-19, but gamers received early access to the tournaments feature from Facebook Gaming.
Software engineer Mina Abouseif said in a blog post that anyone can start or join a tournament, in any game on Facebook, adding, “That could be a casual competition among friends, a creator playing with their chat or a global esports competition. And it all happens virtually, from brackets to leaderboards and everything in between.”
