Facebook shared two updates for gaming creators on its platform: the rollout of custom stickers and emojis, and the extension of its Fan Subscriptions beta-test to members of its Level Up program.

Custom stickers and emojis are rolling out globally this month for Facebook’s partner gaming creators. Those creators design and customize their own sticker packs and emoji, which are then available for players to share during in-game chats via the social network’s Fan Subscriptions program.

Facebook began testing Fan Subscriptions in the U.S. last year as a way for people to support their favorite video creators with small recurring monthly payments in exchange for special rewards such as exclusive content and supporter badges. Players currently pay $4.99 per month for access to those perks.

The Level Up program debuted last June as a way to give new content creators on the Facebook platform early access to new features, as well as input from established creators. It was expanded to 30 countries last December.

Facebook said Fan Subscriptions is being expanded to Level Up creators in stages, based on how active they are, and more will be added soon.

The social network also noted that Level Up creators can eventually become partnered gaming creators, pointing to DiMez and Kingslayer and examples.
