Why didn't Facebook make Fortune's annual list of the 100 best companies to work for?
Fortune‘s latest annual list of the 100 best companies to work for doesn’t include Facebook. Huh?
Facebook recently topped another ranking of the best places to work, based on current employees’ ratings — this was a third-annual list by Glassdoor, which we hadn’t even heard of before the social network put that outfit on the map.
Jobs at the Facebook are among the most-sought after of any employer. In 2010 alone, the social network received 250,000 job applications (compare that to around 2,000 employees).
So which technology companies made the cut for a spot in Fortune’s top 100? SAS is number one.
