Facebook for iPhone 3.1 Debuts
Facebook for iPhone 3.1 launched in the Apple iTunes App Store Wednesday, with the main new feature being Push Notification support, TechCrunch reported.
Push Notification support means users are alerted with a pop-up message or sound for Messages, Wall Posts, Friend Requests, Friend Confirmations, Photo Tags, Events and Comments, according to TechCrunch.
Facebook for iPhone 3.1 also allows users to sync Facebook friends with their iPhone address books, TechCrunch reported.
