Facebook Details Coordinated Inauthentic Behavior for March 2020

180 accounts, 170 Instagram accounts, 160 pages and 1 group were removed

The social network said that for March 2020, it took down a total of 180 Facebook accounts, 170 Instagram accounts, 160 pages and one group.

Automated and manual detection were also used to locate and remove 206 Facebook accounts, 435 Instagram accounts, 74 pages and one group connected to networks that were taken down in the past.

As for the new activity last month, Facebook previously reported its takedown of a network of 49 Facebook accounts, 85 Instagram accounts and 69 pages operated by local nationals in Ghana and Nigeria on behalf of individuals in Russia.
