Facebook vice president of business and marketing partnerships David Fischer is the host of Three and a Half Degrees, an original podcast series introduced by the social network this week.
The company said in a blog post that the podcast’s title represents the fact that technology has lowered six degrees of separation to three-and-a-half degrees, adding, “The podcast explores the benefits, opportunities and challenges of this new proximity, bringing together unexpected pairings of business leaders, mavericks and entrepreneurs who share surprising parallels in values, visions, experiences and ideas.”
