Facebook Blows By MySpace

FacebookLogo.jpgThere is a new leader in the social-networking race, as Facebook finished June with 77 million unique visitors for the month, up from 70.28 million in May, while MySpace totaled 68.4 million unique visitors in June, down from 70.25 million the previous month, TechCrunch reported, citing June data from comScore.

In the United States, Facebook rose by nearly 7 million unique visitors in June, versus 2.8 million in May, while MySpace spiraled in the other direction, losing almost 4 million unique visitors in June after dropping 700,000 in May.

MySpace was still tops in page views, with 32.4 billion in the United States versus 21.3 billion for Facebook, but MySpace’s total dropped 10% in June when compared with May, while Facebook’s rose 12%.
