Facebook Lauded As Best Tech Employer

Facebook has taken Google’s crown as the best tech company to work for. The Palo Alto-based social networking site won the accolade from Business Insider based on employee reviews on Glassdoor. Facebook staff report that the company doesn’t skimp on any of the usual Silicon Valley perks – such as great food and a casual workplace – but has a special appeal because of the independence it grants its employees.

Employees describe a lack of office politics, few meddling middle managers, and the ability to work across different groups.
