Facebook Live Is the Exclusive Streaming Platform for Backstage LIVE! at the #Emmys

Facebook and Instagram will set up shop backstage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles Monday, Sept. 17, for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Backstage LIVE! at the #Emmys will stream exclusively via Facebook Live on the Emmys/Television Academy Facebook page and Emmys.com, sharing action from multiple cameras, including:

  • The Lindt Chocolate Lounge, where talent will enjoy Lindor Chocolate Truffles before taking their turns on stage.
  • The Thank You Cam, providing the first look at winners “fresh off the stage.”
  • Trophy Cam, following winners as they pick up their statuettes before heading into the press room.
  • Interview Cam, where host Marc Istook will share comments and question from fans with winners.

Fans can opt to set a reminder to tune into Backstage LIVE! at the #Emmys, and all content will be available for immediate replay and repeat viewing on the pages of the Emmys/Television Academy and NBC, along with videos, photos and Stories.

Other behind-the-scenes content will be available on Instagram, where the @TelevisionAcad account will feature exclusive Stories, feed and IGTV content from backstage, including winners and presenters.
