Even the Westboro Baptist Church Hates Kim Davis

And you think you have self-image problems?

If you were to ask a gaggle of Christians, Muslims, Jews, Atheists and Mormons, “What is the most hated religious group ever?” most of them would say, “The ‘God Hates F*gs’ people.” Despicably, that equates to the sacrilegious sect of the Westboro Baptist Church.

These dopes picket funerals of fallen soldiers just for the cheap publicity, claim Imams beat Muslim children on any news channel that will broadcast them, protest synagogues because they aren’t baptist churches, and even dared the hacktivist group Anonymous to break their website (which they did).

Fast forward to Kim Davis. Remember her? She is the Rowan County clerk in Kentucky who refused the order of the U.S. Supreme Court to issue same-sex marriage licenses, spent five days in jail for her obstinence, and continues to say she won’t obey SCOTUS as long as God says otherwise.

People tended to forget the heinous “example” of Christianity known as Westboro when Davis came along. And now, we have the face-to-face we never knew to expect.

Even the malevolent cherubs of destruction at Westboro hate Kim Davis. Huh?!

Some would say Davis could be their new PR person, but they can’t stand her. Why? The church has described Davis as a “fake Christian” for being married four times, including twice with the same man, and blamed her for the high court’s decision to strike down bans on marriage equality.

Yes, gay marriage has nothing to do with the evolution of common sense or realization of fairness for all people. It’s because some frow in backwoods Kentucky said so.

“Kim claims that she has lived in proud sin for many years, divorcing and remarrying, not one time or two times, in fact you need a score card to keep track,” the statement read. “Her lawyers, being smooth talking fellows say that all that was before her call to salvation two years ago when her current mother-in-law died. Nice, tidy, clever, but no cigar!”

I give up. Can someone organize a protest of this meeting? If it doesn’t end in a cagefight, there needs to be a do-over. Please?
