With roughly three months left until the presidential election, The Wall Street Journal has had enough of Donald Trump.
In a remarkable editorial, the paper—the longtime, mainstream voice of conservatives—said that if Trump doesn’t change his tactics by Labor Day, he should drop out. And if he doesn’t alter his ways, the GOP should abandon him.
“If they [Trump supporters in the GOP] can’t get Mr. Trump to change his act by Labor Day, the GOP will have no choice but to write off the nominee as hopeless and focus on salvaging the Senate and House and other down-ballot races,” explained the editorial.
