EU: Lots of Broken Laws on Mobile Content Sites
Here’s something we never thought we’d see – Web sites that have some sort of illegal practice going on. OK, well, maybe that’s not so shocking, but when you’re talking about the vast majority of ringtone Web sites in the European Union, that is a surprise.
The EU investigated more than 550 sites selling mobile content in its 27 member states plus Norway and Iceland. According to Cellular-news, 80% of them are facing further investigation because they’re suspected of breaking EU consumer rules.
