Enter the Botox Cafe (at Your Own Risk)

Who’s the mother and who’s the daughter?

We’re just joking – it’s a lovely place. And at 5 p.m. WJLA 7 is scheduled to feature a segment on Georgetown’s new Botox cafe, Luxxery Express, D.C.’s first walk-in boutique of its kind. The network’s Cynne Simpson came to the office Wednesday to interview some brave patients who were getting poked. The above picture is Dannia Hakki with her mother, Hiba, and father (the famous doc to the stars), Dr. Hakki, as seen at a soiree for the cafe last week.

At last week’s party for the cafe where free skin treats were doled out, the following journos and guests showed up…

Washingtonians joined celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Ayman Hakki for the official launch event of his Georgetown location, Luxxery Express. Guests included FOX 5’s Will Thomas, previous rapper Tonya Lumpkin (a.k.a. Sole), Washington Life Magazine Executive Editor Michael Clements, NBC 4’s John Schriffen, Washington Examiner‘s Katy Adams, Rolling Stone‘s Nelson Lewis, Human Event‘s Emily Miller, TBD.com’s Amanda Hess, Skin and Allergy News’ Amy Pfeiffer, Alhurra’s Marwan Zaatar, Peacock Cafe owner Shahab Farivar, author Doreen Lehr, NBC Nightside & KStreetKate’s Kate Michel and Hakki’s wife and the COO of Luxxery Hiba Hakki.  Guests enjoyed Piper-Heidsieck Champagne, Peacock Cafe hors d’oeuvres and Frosting a Cupcakery signature cupcakes while having the chance to chat with the doc about the latest rejuvenation tips and cosmetic trends.
