Encryption and You, the Journalist

The Mozilla Foundation tackles encryption in an education campaign.

The Mozilla Foundation, which you may know as the force behind the Firefox browser but is also an open web advocate, has been engaged in recent weeks in an encryption education campaign.

Set against the encryption battle between Apple and the FBI over accessing the data on the iPhone that belonged to Syed Rizwan Farook, the San Bernardino shooter, it’s a timely campaign.

That’s a good thing, because encryption isn’t the most accessible topic. Mozilla, through a series of videos, is hoping to demystify the subject.
